Dial Adds All-American Status to Award Haul

Emporia State senior outfielder Alexis Dial has been named a Second Team All-American by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.  She’s the 12th All-American in the history of the program and the first since Stephanie Goodwin in 2015.  Dial was previously named All-Central Region by the NFCA and Second Team All-Region from the D2CCA.  The Topeka, Kan. senior hit .430 while slugging .778 and receiving First Team All-MIAA honors and led the league in doubles while ranking third in ‘The Association’ in RBIs in 2024.  The Lady Hornets finished 31-20 this season after falling in the quarterfinals of the MIAA Tournament.
