A new political party will be on the ballot this cycle.
United Kansas will appear alongside Democrats, Republicans, independents, Libertarian and No Labels Kansas after submitting enough petition signatures to qualify, according to Kansas Secretary of State Scott Schwab. It joins the Libertarian party and No Labels Kansas as minor parties.
United Kansas will not be on the August primary election ballot. It must nominate candidates for the November general election by noon June 3, whether through convention or caucus.
