Kansas Governor Laura Kelly is reconvening the Legislature next month.
The governor made the official call Wednesday morning, setting June 18 as the date.
The only issue is tax relief. The governor and Republicans don’t disagree on much when it comes to certain details, but Governor Kelly says the Republican plan costs too much and would “threaten Kansas’ solid fiscal foundation.”
Lawmakers representing Lyon County have declined comment.
