A status conference is coming Wednesday for one of several defendants in an Emporia aggravated robbery case that developed last summer.
Antonio Brown will appear in Lyon County District Court for a status conference at 3 pm. Brown is charged with single counts of aggravated robbery and conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery following the alleged robbery of a man’s wallet, cell phone and or keys this past June.
Three other defendants, Calvin Cruse, Mikkel McCray and Elssy Cervantes have already been sentenced in the case. All three received 24-months probation.
Cruse was sentenced following a no-contest plea to single counts of aggravated battery and conspiracy to commit aggravated battery. Cervantes and McCray were each sentenced for conspiracy to commit aggravated battery.
