Traffic adjustments are now underway as a result of the 24th Avenue and Prairie waterline improvement project.
Until further notice, 24th Avenue from Prairie Street to Industrial Road will be open to westbound traffic only. Westbound traffic will be traveling in the eastbound lane.
All traffic to the Emporia Pavillions will need to enter 24th from Prairie and use the east entrance to access the shopping center. There will be no access to the Pavillions from Industrial Road and all Industrial Road traffic will need to turn left at 24th Avenue.
The project is set to add a new waterline from the Water Treatment Plant at 24th and Industrial east on 24th to Prairie and then south to 12th Avenue. The project is scheduled to go through most of 2025.
