Community members now have a second option to attend the Emporia Farmer’s Market.
Wednesday sales began this week in the parking lot at 7th and Merchant and will be held each Wednesday through September.
Emporia Farmer’s Market Coordinator Trisha Fullerton says multiple new vendors are coming to the market bringing some new items in to sell.
With the Wednesday markets now underway, the Lyon County Extension Office will be on hand twice this month and four times in July cooking up a recipe featuring items sold at the market. Fullerton says having the Extension Office on hand adds some fun to the market and to see what attendees can do with the items that are offered at the market.
Wednesday markets join Saturday markets from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
