Sentencing is coming next month for the final defendant in an aggravated robbery case that developed last summer.
During a hearing in Lyon County District Court Wednesday, Antonio Lee Brown pleaded no contest to and was found guilty of a single count of attempted aggravated assault. Sentencing is scheduled for 10 am July 24 before Judge Jeff Larson.
Brown will be the final of four suspects to be sentenced in the case that developed after the alleged robbery of a man’s wallet, cell phone and or keys this past June. Three other defendants, Calvin Cruse, Mikkel McCray and Elssy Cervantes have already been sentenced in the case. All three received 24-months probation.
Cruse was sentenced following a no-contest plea to single counts of aggravated battery and conspiracy to commit aggravated battery. Cervantes and McCray were each sentenced for conspiracy to commit aggravated battery.
