The Kansas Historical Society will be the focus of an upcoming presentation at Red Rocks State Historic Site this weekend.
Kansas Historical Society Executive Director Patrick Zollner will be on site to discuss the society’s 149-year history and delve into the society’s founding, its evolution and the work it does daily across the state of Kansas. Roger Heineken of Red Rocks says he is very eager to hear the presentation as he is interested in learning more about the inner workings of the agency.
He adds the presentation should interest residents as the society’s work can provide insight into their own family histories.
The presentation will take place Sunday at Red Rocks, 927 Exchange Street, at 2 pm and will run for about an hour. For more information on the presentation and other upcoming activities through Red Rocks call 620-342-2800, email KSHS.redrocks@KS.gov, visit KSHS.org/red_rocks or find Red Rocks State Historic Site on Facebook.
