A preliminary hearing is coming later this month in a Morris County drug distribution case.
Elsie Mae Rall will return to court in Council Grove on June 24.
Rall was arrested May 18 after a suspicious activity report was forwarded to the Morris County Drug Task Force. The task force obtained search warrants for a hotel room and vehicle at 1219 Old US Highway 56 before arresting Rall.
Rall was later charged with distributing up to 100 grams each of cocaine, heroin and methamphetamine, as well as possessing marijuana, meth and paraphernalia.
In April, Rall was sentenced to 36 months probation in a Sherman County case that initially started with methamphetamine distribution and included drug and traffic charges before a plea agreement on the meth distribution count. The initial sentence included 104 months in prison as an underlying sentence, but Sherman County authorities issued a bench warrant for Rall’s arrest shortly before her incident in Morris County after she allegedly absconded from authorities.
