A t-shirt fundraiser is ongoing benefiting an Emporia native battling breast cancer.
Jennifer Stewart is currently battling stage two breast cancer. It’s Stewart’s second battle after she had stage zero breast cancer about three years ago.
Brett Stewart, Jennifer’s brother-in-law, says they’re humbled about the community wanting to support their family.
Jane Linhart says the idea for a t-shirt fundraiser came from an idea of a bracelet that was made by Stewart’s friends stating “All In For Jenn Jenn.” That idea was then turned into a t-shirt stating “3 chickens in a barn” with the prototype being developed by Angie Teeter-Dowell of Lebo.
Linhart says sales have been going well.
T-shirts are $15 for youth sizes, $20 for adult sizes small through 3XL, and $25 for sizes 4XL-5XL. Shirts are available in all sizes in grey and in pink for all sizes except 4XL and 5XL.
