Bloom House Youth Services is inviting the public to a new fundraiser later this month honoring the history of Pride Month.
Pride Through The Ages will be held on June 21 from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Emporia Granada Theatre. Tickets are $30 per person or two for $50.
On KVOE’s Talk of Emporia recently, Bloom House Director Clara Corn says there’s a lot included in the price of admission.
Pride Through The Ages is a fundraiser for Bloom House for a new fire system upgrade. Corn says Bloom House is installing a sprinkler system connected to a fire alarm system to go along with its current system.
Corn says these two pieces are important to have and Bloom House is looking to fundraise through grants, donation letters to generous individuals and businesses, and Pride Through The Ages.
To purchase tickets, visit bloomhouseks.org and click on Linktree or find a poster that is posted all across Emporia and use the QR Code.
