Minor repairs continue for Burlington Northern Santa Fe’s railroad line across Chase County.
Roadsafe has a rail surface group handling the repairs. Work since Tuesday has been focused on the Matfield Green area. Those repairs could be done by this upcoming Sunday.
Work began this past Sunday near Strong City, moving to areas near Cottonwood Falls and Bazaar through the week. Over 20 work zones are part of the overall project.
