Lyon County’s gravel road network is almost totally back to normal after flooding early this week.
The Lyon County Highway Department has one road to repair: Road 155 between F and G just southwest of Emporia.
Flooding rain early Sunday led to over 15 road segments, most near Emporia, being barricaded earlier this week.

Lyon County’s road network is slowly drying out and getting cleared for normal travel.
On Wednesday, the Highway Department cleared Road F from 225-230, Road J between 150-160, Road 150 from Kansas Highway 99 to J and Road 225 from F to F-5. There are still several roads still closed due to flooding:
*G from 150 to 160
*H from 155 to West South Avenue
*145 from F to H
*147 from H to 150
*150 from E to the Cottonwood River; Kansas Turnpike to F; 147 to J
*155 from F to G; K to Kansas Highway 99
*170 from E-5 to F
