Fundraising for Denim and Diamonds has gone well this spring.
Nearly $9,000 has been raised from two fundraisers last month. Newman Regional Health Marketing Coordinator Saylor Middleton says both fundraisers have been a success.
The next fundraiser on the schedule will be an axe-throwing tournament on July 26 at the Axe Shedd. Middleton says the axe throwing tournament will be one of the first three opportunities where community members can get their hands on a ‘Golden Ticket.’
One of the three Golden Tickets will be drawn and win a to-be-announced prize from Kari’s Diamonds and Bridal which Middleton will announce on KVOE on June 28.
Middleton says tickets for the signature event at Emporia State’s Webb Hall on August 2 will go on sale on July 1. Funds will go to the radiology department and infant hearing tests.
