The 2024 PDGA Professional Masters Disc Golf World Championships wrapped up under sunny and steamy conditions at Champions Landing on Saturday. Joe Rovere led the MP40 wire-to-wire and finished at -45 for a 14-stroke win. Mika Laikko and Jeff Faes each finished tied for second at -31. Emporia State disc golf head coach Eric McCabe finished +1 for the day Saturday and slid back to fourth place. Rovere had just three bogeys in the four rounds of regulation play to build his lead and finished Saturday strong shooting -8 in the semifinals including a bogey-free back nine with six birdies.
In the FP40, Ohn Scoggins lapped the field with a massive 25-shot victory finishing at -30 in the tournament. The Los Angeles native was never threatened and shot -3 in the semifinals before an even final round to cinch up the title. Jennifer Allen was second at -5 while Stephanie Vincent finished third at -1.

Bill Rohe, -30 in the MP65, a one-stroke victory over Kenny Lee
Harvey Brandt, -29 in the MP70, a one-stroke victory over Lavone Wolfe
Pete May, +50 in the MP80
Things were tighter in the Amateur Masters Disc Golf World Championships with Daniel Schnabel taking a five-stroke victory in the MA40 finishing at -19 ahead of Matt Schlabach. Alica Carr won the FA40 by seven shots over Amy Church finishing at +19. Jeffrey Romig stormed back from four-shots back in the finals to win on the first playoff hole over Jonas Partma in the MA50. Partma’s final round came apart when he quintuple bogeyed his second hole of the finals on the 11th while Romig made par in four as part of a five-shot swing. Michelle Swan held on to win the FA50 at +14. Mika Kollanus was the only player under par to win the MA55. Angie Jones held off Kim King for a one-stroke victory in the FA55. Ron Smith won the MA60 by three shots finishing at -4 Saturday. Joy McNatt took the FA60 with an eight-shot win. Scott Conner of Roeland Park, Kan. won the MA65 title by two shots over George Bodiroga and Canadian Jane Anderson-Renton cruised to the FA65 title with an 11-stroke win. Mark Hauser dominated in the MA70 with a 14 shot victory while Gene Kouba of Edmond, Okla. took the MA75 championship.
