The David Traylor Zoo has been a busy place this year, and it will be busy again Sunday for the annual open house.
Zoo Director Lisa Keith says one of the highlights is the look into the off-exhibit area — the only time time it’s available to the public all year.
Residents can also see the recently-renovated and expanded Zoo Education Center as well as current work on the eagle exhibit among other items. The Carnivore Cafe concession stand will also be open. Docents will be available to answer questions.
The open house is from 1-3 pm. KVOE will broadcast between 12:30-2 pm. Parking has expanded after recent construction but is still limited.
