Jerome Tang has earned himself a pay raise after staying in Manhattan this season after being pursued by Arkansas. Tang has inked an amendment to his current contract that will boost his salary by $500,000 per year. He is set to earn $3.5 million during the 2024-25 season and the salary will increase by $100,000 per year before maxing out at $4.1 million during his final year with the deal expiring in 2031. He’s also set to earn retention bonuses of $200,000 annually each April during the contract. Several bonuses are in place ranging from $10,000 for reaching the NIT to $600,000 for a national championship game appearance. Tang’s salary is sixth highest in the new-look Big 12.
