The latest vehicle registration deadline for Lyon County residents is at the end of this week.
The Treasurer’s Office says Friday is the last day to register without financial penalty if your last names begin with the letters “H” or “I.”
Residents can take care of their business at the County Courthouse or they can use the QLess process to reserve their place in line. Residents using QLess can use the kiosk outside the Motor Vehicle Office entrance, download the QLess app or text “Lyon County Motor Vehicle” to 620-254-9998.
Office hours are 8 am to 4:30 pm weekdays. Proof of insurance and a valid Kansas drivers license or ID are needed.
