New Start Choir’s second concert is quickly approaching.
The group will perform at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Emporia Granada Theatre. Songs featured by the group will be from movies and musicals from all decades.
Director Anna Ryan says the group is a wonderful combination of individuals with disabilities and their allies. Ryan says the group has become one, which has been ‘outstanding’.
Ryan says the group’s response to the community has been fantastic. New Start Choir has already scheduled three performances at local care homes and nursing homes and performing for the Retiring Teacher’s Association.
Ryan says it is a good obligation to go into the community to share what New Start Choir does.
