Newman Regional Health is now into high gear for its signature fundraising event.
Tickets for the Denim and Diamonds main event on Aug. 2 will go on sale Monday. Admission is $100 per ticket, and residents can get tickets online at 2024dd.givesmart.com and on the hospital’s website, newmanrh.org.
On KVOE’s Morning Show recently, Events Coordinator Saylor Middleton had information about the grand prize, courtesy of Kari’s Diamonds and Bridal.
The bracelet is worth over $5,000.
Middleton also reminded residents the country band Thompson Square will perform as part of the main event, and she says the next related fundraiser is is an axe throwing contest, courtesy the Axe Shedd, on July 20.
All proceeds benefit hospital purchases, including infant hearing equipment, a Mako Arm for robot-assisted joint replacement surgery and a radiology fluoroscopy room.
