One person was hospitalized after a crash in northwest Emporia on Monday.
Emporia Fire/EMS and Emporia Police responded to MainStay Suites, 2602 Candlewood Drive, just after noon after an SUV backed up partway into the hotel. Emporia Fire Capt. Ben Lienemann tells KVOE News the driver had an unspecified medical issue before the crash happened.
The driver was taken to Newman Regional Health for treatment. Additional information is pending.
