Among the many changes in laws effective Monday in Kansas will come a new name for a state agency.
The Kansas Commission on Veterans Affairs Office is now called the Kansas Office of Veterans Services. Despite the name change, Kansas Governor Laura Kelly says the agency’s mission and key functions will continue — benefits assistance, health care services, interments, advocacy and education.
The change comes with a new website, kovs.ks.gov.
