After having a meeting almost completely dedicated to budget conversations Wednesday, the budget becomes one of several focal points for Lyon County commissioners Thursday.
Near the end of the meeting, commissioners will announce whether they plan to exceed the revenue-neutral rate for the 2025 budget. That announcement means additional budget-related paperwork to be filed with the state.
Other topics for the commission include a 2023 audit presentation by Agler and Gaeddert, a quote from Time Clock Plus to add all county employees to the county time clock, a possible $22,000 purchase of steel casing from Gateway Steel Pipe & Supply and a possible decision on adjusting the county’s mileage reimbursement rate.
Commission and staff reports are planned, along with single executive sessions for legal and non-elected personnel matters.
The meeting starts at 9 am at the County Courthouse Commission Chambers.
