The Lyon County Planning and Appeals Board has recommended a parcel type change and a conditional use permit request as part of its most recent meeting.
Board members gave their approval to a change from Agriculture to Light Industrial in the 600 block of Road 170 as requested by Beef Land Development LLC. Land use plans haven’t been finalized, but Lyon County Zoning and Floodplain Administrator Sam Seeley says the property could be used as storage for boats or recreational vehicles.
Board members also approved a conditional use permit for motor vehicle storage at 1687 Road W-7 as requested by property owner John Nichols.
Both items go before the Lyon County Commission for final approval.
