The statewide AMBER alert issued for a young Wichita boy has been canceled with the child found safe and his father in custory.
Wichita Police had said 2-year-old Ryan Ramones was physically taken from his mother by his father, 25-year-old Richard Ramones. Officers say the father fled on foot from a Wichita apartment after possibly hurting the child in a fall.
The Kansas Bureau of Investigation issued the AMBER Alert shortly after 4 am. It was canceled less than an hour later.

A statewide AMBER Alert has been issued for a young Wichita child.
Wichita Police say 2-year-old Ryan Ramones was physically taken from his mother by his father, 25-year-old Richard Ramones, who was physically assaulting the mother. Oficers also say the mother was holding the child when Richard Ramones fell into furniture with the toddler, possibly hurting the child. Richard Ramones then fled on foot from 717 West Shade in Wichita.
Ryan Ramones is believed to be hurt “and in imminent danger.”
Ryan Ramones is 3 feet tall, 22 pound, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray T-shirt and shorts with Mickey Mouse pictures.
Richard Ramones is 5-foot-9, 160 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes and several tattoos. He was last seen wearing a black shirt.
