A preliminary hearing is ahead in a child exploitation and drug possession case beginning in Greenwood County.
Ralph Wayne Steely faces one count of sexual exploitation after allegedly possessing “visual depiction” of at least one child under the age of 18 and involved in explicit conduct. He also faces singles counts of possession marijuana, methamphetamine and paraphernalia.
Charges stem from a search warrant served by Greenwood County deputies in Eureka on July 7. Other details about this case have not been divulged.
Steely’s preliminary hearing is Sept. 13. Chris Ambrose has been appointed as defense counsel.
