Some tickets are now available for Newman Regional Health’s signature fundraising event.
Events Coordinator Saylor Middleton had an update on KVOE’s Newsmaker segment Friday:
Middleton says Newman Regional has also been working with Emporia State University to add more seating.
Activities for the Aug. 2 event include a live and silent auction, dinner, the golden ticket drawing for the $5,000 diamond, sapphire and gold bracelet from Kari’s Diamonds and Bridal and the concert featuring Thompson Square.
While the main event may well fill up — again — Newman Regional Health has canceled its axe throwing contest for Saturday after limited sign-ups.
All proceeds benefit hospital purchases, including infant hearing equipment, a Mako Arm for robot-assisted joint replacement surgery and a radiology fluoroscopy room.
