One of Emporia’s community activities this weekend is all about the supernatural.
The second annual Flint Hills Spirit Fair will be held at the Lyon County History Center on Saturday. The event is organized by Flint Hills Paranormal, and co-founder and senior investigator Brandy Nance says a lot is happening.
Nance says events like this have become popular because they tap into a longstanding interest in the supernatural and the unknown. She also says Emporia is an untapped market, as opposed to larger cities like Kansas City, Topeka and Wichita.
Activities go from 10 am to 5 pm Saturday. Information is online at flinthillsparanormal.com or the Flint Hills Paranormal Facebook page.
