Morris County authorities are looking for two people who allegedly fled the scene of a drug violation as law enforcement were obtaining a search warrant for the incident address.
The Council Grove Police Department says officers responded to 20 North Belfry shortly after 1 am Tuesday for a suspected fentanyl overdose. Officers gave Narcan to the victim and also performed CPR. While authorities went through the search warrant process, the alleged suspects fled — possibly to the Tulsa, Oklahoma, area, although there are subject connections in and around Waynoka, Oklahoma.
The suspects are Meagann Mason and Colby Ross. Both are wanted on suspicion of aggravated child endangerment and possession of marijuana, methamphetamine and paraphernalia. At last word, they were last seen driving a gray 2016 Dodge Dart with the Oklahoma plate NAW 558.
