Emporia State head soccer coach Jane Grimley-Gunn has added to her coaching staff ahead of her first season in Emporia. Thomas Bledsoe has joined the staff after spending last season at Montana State-Billings. Bledsoe has MIAA experience after serving as an assistant coach at Missouri Southern in 2022. Bledsoe is a graduate of Southwest Baptist and served as a graduate assistant there in 2021. He played as a freshman in 2018 before becoming a student assistant for the Bearcats. The Lady Hornets finished 14-6-4 in in 2023 with an 8-2-1 record in MIAA games on the way to the 2023 MIAA Tournament championship.
