USD 253 Emporia board members have contract matters, handbook readings and strategic planning ahead for their next regular meeting.
Board members could approve salary adjustments for licensed professionals, administrators, classified and classified-exempt employees for the current school year. They will also have second readings for licensed staff, classified, substitute and administrator handbooks, athletic and new activities handbooks and emergency operations plan updates.
In addition, board members will look over the strategic plan quarterly report and have one executive session for personnel matters.
The meeting starts at 6 pm Wednesday at Mary Herbert Education Center.
