The two people who allegedly fled the scene of a Council Grove drug incident site and went to Oklahoma have both been formally charged and are awaiting court dates in Morris County.
Meagann Ruth Mason and Colby Vaughn Ross are both charged with possessing marijuana, methamphetamine and paraphernalia. Both are also charged with aggravated child endangerment involving a child no more than two years old.
Council Grove Police say Mason and Ross left 20 North Belfry in Council Grove early July 16 after an unspecified person had a suspected fentanyl overdose that resulted in the victim receiving Narcan and CPR treatments. Law enforcement also says Mason and Ross fled the scene as authorities were going through the process to obtain a search warrant. Both were arrested in Oklahoma on Sunday.
