Lyon County
*Emporia State University: $10,000 for public art and murals
*Emporia State University Art Therapy program: $4,150 for visiting artists
*Hetlinger Developmental Services: $20,000 for Arts Everywhere
*Kansas Free for Arts (Halfway 2 Everywhere): $15,721 for general operating support
Chase County
*Symphony in the Flint Hills: $15,255 for general operating support
Coffey County
*Coffey Health Foundation: $9,820 for public art and murals
Morris County
*Community Arts Council of Council Grove: $8,402 for general operating support
Wabaunsee County
*Kansas Rural Communities Foundation: $7,500 for visiting artists
Funds are designed to support arts education, creative writing, dance, murals, museums, music, theater and visual programs and projects. Almost $1.3 million was awarded for this grant cycle.
