Seeds will be spitting, watermelons will be rolling and juices will be dripping as part of the Homegrown Celebration taking place Saturday at the Emporia Farmers Market.
On KVOE’s Morning Show on Friday, Farmers Market Coordinator Trisha Fullerton said there will be a lot happening.
This is the 19th annual Homegrown Celebration, courtesy of ESB Financial. Activities start at 8 am. Watermelon contests begin at 8:30 am. KVOE will broadcast live from Homegrown starting at 8 am.
