The 2024 Lyon County Fair is revving up.
Activities began Thursday with the Friends of 4H Dinner, featuring the annual Friends of the Agents presentation. This year’s award goes to Miller Time Photography and Miller Mercantile owner Emma Miller.
4H shows begin Friday with the dog, hand pet and cat shows at the Fairgrounds Anderson Building starting at 5 pm. Setup of the Anderson Building begins at 8 am Saturday, with Fairgrounds cleanup beginning at 10:30 am. Sunday’s schedule includes the horse show at 8:30 am, pee wee rodeo at 4 pm and ranch rodeo at 7 pm.
Fair Board member Aaron Armitage says “we are good to go.”
