Beginning this fall, Flint Hills Technical College will be offering classes in the evening.
FHTC has challenged its faculty to make evening classes so students have another option besides morning and afternoon.
Executive Vice President of Student Services and Academic Affairs Lisa Kirmer says FHTC wants to meet the needs of its students.
Along with the addition of evening classes, two new courses in the Industrial Engineering Technology Program will be taught in Spanish only. Director of Enrollment Management Brenda Carmichael says it’s huge for FHTC to offer these classes in someone’s native language.
Classes are scheduled to start on August 12. Carmichael says FHTC would like to have all students enrolled by that date so students do not miss any key instruction or labs.
There is no cost for admission, however, FHTC is currently offering a $50 enrollment deposit for students to get started. To enroll in classes, visit FHTC at 3301 W. 18th Avenue.
