The Harveyville area will see some highway road work next week.
The Kansas Department of Transportation will replace pipes under Kansas Highway 31. Work begins Tuesday, as K-31 will be closed south of Harveyville between Soldier Creek and Santa Fe Trail roads. Work is also set to close K-31 west of Harveyville on Wednesday between Miller and Bradford roads.
No marked detours will be posted. Drivers will need to find alternate routes during this project.
