Trial could have started Monday in a Lyon County drug distribution case. Instead, the next step in the case against Skylar Creed is sentencing in October.
Creed pleaded no contest to an amended count of possessing fentanyl with intent to distribute as part of a status hearing July 31. Sentencing in her case is Oct. 30.
Creed and co-defendant Stephen Jennison were originally charged with unlawfully distributing up to 100 dosage units of fentanyl, as well as possessing marijuana and methamphetamine, as part of an alleged incident in early August 2023. Jennison pleaded no contest to fentanyl possession last October and received 18 months probation.
