A traffic stop in Osage County led to an Arkansas man being taken into custody early Wednesday.
According to Osage County Sheriff Chris Wells, a sheriff’s deputy initiated a traffic stop for an alleged traffic violation near the US Highway 75, Kansas Highway 268 and Kansas Highway 31 roundabout just after 12:10 am. During the stop, illegal narcotics were supposedly found in the vehicle driven by 62-year-old Jimmy D. Robison of Sloan, Arkansas.
Robison was taken into custody on suspicion of distribution of methamphetamine, possession of opiates, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence and transporting an open container. Formal charges are currently pending.
