Lyon County Commissioners have their regular action session Thursday morning.
Only two action items are on the agenda. First, commissioners will consider a resolution authorizing participation in the rural opportunity zone student loan repayment program for 2025.
Second, commissioners will consider approving Lyon County Engineer Chip Woods, Assistant Engineer Jim Brull, Seth Snyder and Matt Baysinger to attend the MINK Conference in St. Joseph, Missouri from September 24 through September 26 with related travel expenses to be paid from the county Road and Bridge fund. Commission reports and two executive sessions, one for non-elected personnel and one for legal matters, will also take place.
The meeting will begin at 9 am inside of the Lyon County Courthouse Commission Chambers.
