The 2024 Lyon County Fair is in full swing.
The annual carnival kicked off Thursday evening welcoming all to enjoy the sights, sounds and rides.
Carnival hours are 6 pm to 10 pm daily through next Saturday. Wristbands can be purchased each night allowing unlimited rides for $28.
The start of the carnival Thursday coincided with the latest grandstand event, the antique tractor pull. Grandstand events will continue Saturday night with the demolition derby.
The derby is taking place much earlier than in the past as it previously served as the culmination of fair activities. The demolition derby will begin at 7 pm. KVOE will be broadcasting from the grandstands Saturday from 5 pm to 7 pm.
