No injuries have been reported after an incident involving a semi and a short light pole Thursday morning.
Emporia Police and Emporia Fire responded to Sixth and Prairie shortly before 8 am for a reported line down and initial concerns the stoplight at the intersection was taken offline. That turned out not to be the case. The semi had gone into the Amoco parking lot and knocked over a light pole.
There was no other damage reported.
