Minor injuries followed a crash in northern Lyon County on Wednesday evening.
Lyon County Deputy Tom Hardin says authorities and emergency responders were dispatched to the 400 block of US Highway 56, about two miles west of Bushong, after the crash was reported just after 8 pm. Hardin says 49-year-old Jason Stahl of Valley Falls was driving a pickup that was pulling a trailer. The pickup and trailer went off the highway for unknown reasons, with the truck hitting a tree and the trailer breaking away from the truck.
Stahl was observed by medical staff and released.
Besides deputies, emergency staff from Admire, Allen and Emporia responded to the crash site. Deputies continue their investigation.
