Sundays at the Site continues this weekend.
The focus this upcoming Sunday will be the work of architects Charles Squires and Henry Brinkman.
*Squires designed a number of notable buildings between 1878 and his death in 1934, including the HC Cross House, Emporia Presbyterian Church and the former C of E campus’ Carnegie Anderson Memorial Library.
*Henry Brinkman practiced from 1907 until he died in 1949. He focused on a number of homes early in his career for designing churches across Kansas and western Missouri, including Emporia’s Sacred Heart, and the Gufler Mansion.
Gufler owner Brad Cochennet will give the presentation, which begins at 2 pm at Red Rocks State Historic Site.
