A man originally facing over a dozen counts of violating the state’s offender registry act has received probation after a plea agreement in Lyon County District Court.
Perry A Myers was charged with both standard and aggravated violations — 13 total — for alleged failure to comply dating from 2019 to spring 2023. He pleaded no contest to one count in late June, reflecting a failure to renew an ID card.
On Friday, Myers was sentenced to two years probation. He also has a 43-month underlying prison term for any violations.
