The sheep show was one of the highlights of Saturday’s schedule at the Lyon County Fair.
Jeffrey Wittgartner won several categories, including Supreme Champion Ewe. He says focus is key for a good showing.
Wittgartner’s show goats were Margo and Michael Jackson.
Wittgartner says sheep and goats may look similar to the untrained eye, but there can be some pretty significant personality differences — between sheep and goats and between goats themselves.
