A Great Bend resident has been arrested on suspected drug distribution and possession charges in Osage County.
According to Osage County Sheriff Chris Wells, a sheriff’s deputy initiated a traffic stop at milepost 162 on Interstate 35 just after 2 pm Tuesday for an alleged traffic violation. During the stop, illegal narcotics were supposedly found in the vehicle driven by 44-year-old Amanda Rigby.
Rigby was arrested and taken to the Osage County Jail on suspicion of distribution of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Formal charges are pending.
