One person has been hospitalized after a car struck a cyclist in Emporia Thursday morning.
The accident was reported at Sixth and Chestnut around 7:45 am. Emporia Police Sgt. Dominic Vortherms says a southbound car struck an eastbound cyclist who was near the north curb riding against traffic.
The cyclist was taken to Newman Regional Health with reported non-life-threatening injuries. Additional details are pending.
