The Lyon County Fair ends Saturday, and board member Aaron Armitage is quite pleased with what he has seen the last three weeks.
On KVOE’s 8:05 am newscast Friday, Armitage says, “I have no complaints” about participation, attendance or the weather.
The final grandstand event is the truck and tractor pull Friday night beginning at 7 pm. Showers and storms are possible, but Armitage says the tentative plan is to have the pull take place as scheduled. Tagan Trahoon will broadcast from the Fairgrounds between 5-7 pm.
The carnival will run from 6-10 pm both Friday and Saturday nights to close out the fair.
