Strong to severe thunderstorms remain possible areawide through midnight, and the National Weather Service has extended an existing severe thunderstorm watch to include part of the KVOE listening area.
Chase County is included until 6 pm. The National Weather Service is mentioning wind gusts up to 70 mph and hail to the size of golf balls as the main hazards.
